No, this is not an update, officially... but an announcement that I have a new Xanga. A new Xanga, for a new year, and a new phase of my life. Go to this site. Hopefully with having these new things going on, I will have more motivation to post, hopefully ;) Thank you.

Well, here's a bit of an entry for anyone who might still happen to visit here ever so often. As some Im sure already know, I did indeed fully tear my ACL, and will hae to have surgery to rebuild it. Ill go in for that surgery on the 19th. Its outpatient surgery, so I wont have to stay at the hopital or nothing. But I will be off my feet for a couple of days, and will have to once again get around on crutches for a while. The doc says Ill probably be our of work for +4 weeks. So I am about to have plenty of free time. But thats ok, 'cause my physical therapy stuff is gonna take lots a time. So right now Im just trying to be as patient as possible, and just trusting in God that its gonna all turn out right. I will admit though that Im a bit nervous about the surgery, but I mean, I still I know that all I can do is pray and trust. It can be so hard to be patient though. And I know that thats all Im going to be doing after the surgery, is being patient, and making sure my knee fully recovers from the surgery.

Other than the upcoming surgery, Im still working at CFA till I have to be off of my feet, and Im taking Sumer classes. Im taking US history, and the second part of chemistry. I hopefully I will be able to keep my head above water, what with missing a few classes 'cause of the surgery. I have one more semester at TNCC, then I'll be done my 2 year degrees. Although I had "definetly" decided on going to ODU, Im now having some other thoughts. Trying to decide whether to go on right away and finish my B.S. or go first to the police department, and then finish my degree while working there... I donno. It seems like everytime I make a definete decision, something else comes up to make me reconsider. I want to try and decide as soon as possible, so that I can at least know, but want to avaoid making any snap decisions. Once again its all in God's hands, and I have to just do my best to work through the options.

Oh, and I heard that Mae is writing for their new albulm. Thatswassup.

The Question

Without ice... Apollo would be a speed swimmer. And our cokes would be warm.

Mmmm, it really is too late to be on here right now, but ehh, I can't help it. Im by myself right now. Most everything is quiet except for the tv in the background, playing the olympics. The U.S. team just got silver in ice dancing, way to go people! Speaking of the Olympics, I watched curling for the first time this ever. It was actually kinda interesting. Alot more thought and strategy goes into that game than I thought. We watched one of the U.S. Finland games. The announcers said that one of the guys on the Finnish team was the "smartest man in Finland." Some uber mathmatician or something like that. Said he could solve the Rubiks Cube in like twenty two seconds... Can you imagine that??? I acn barely figure out how many colors are on that thing in that time, much less figure it all out. Hmm, speaking of which, I think I should go get a rubiks cube and practice. You never know when you might have to solve one of those things.

In other news... I got my shirt Friday. Now, some of you may be thinking, why didnt you have a shirt earlier, and even more importantly, how did I ever go and get groceries without one. Well about the groceries thing, its actually been a while since I ran out to get groceries, most of the time its stuff like dog food, or paper cups, or maybe even drano. The drano I didnt get yet, I was going to today, but got caught up on the computer, and didnt get a chance. We need drano, cause we cant quite figure out why our washer drain is backin up. But where was I anyways...groceries... drano... Oh yes, my shirt. When I say I got my shirt, what I really mean is that I am now officially a manager. At my store, we do a little ceremony where you get a piece of your old shirt cut off(long story) and are then given your new manager shirt and tie and all that. Yes, I now get to wear a tie at work. One word, shibby.  So now I have my keys, and the magic card. Im so glad to be finally done with all that stuff. Its just nice to not have to worry about it anymore. 'Course now I get all the extra responsibility, extra pressure and all that, but hey, at least I got a new purrty maroon shirt.

Contra dancing was last weekend. Or was it the one before it... It already seems like its been so long since it happened. We made most of the crowd out there again. Its so great. Hopefully we can get a big group like that again.

School... gack! With the combination of school and work and everything else, Im gettin my rear end kicked. But I'm doing well, just not alot of time. Speaking of school, this is the last full semester before when I was originally intending to go to the police academy. But I have been rethinking that. I have been entertaining the idea of maybe transfering to a four year college to finish my bachelors before moving on to the police force. I donno, still have some praying and thinking to do about that. Another thing about school... Spring break is coming up soon... what will I do for that, I do not know. If I don't hurry up and think of something, I guess it will just be something monotonous like work, heaven forbid!

Happy Presidents day everybody!!!
I don't know about yall, but I don't remember presidents day being such a big hooplah. I mean, banks closed, no trash pickup, alota schools out... 'Course work wasn't closed, but ehh, we never close. Jay Leno is funny. If Jay Leno is on, I know its late. Ithink I want to be on an Olympic bobsleding team. I think I could do it too. Who knows, I could be the best thing since sliced bread on a bobsled. Umm, that would be me on the bobsled, not the sliced bread on the bobsled. Yeah, cause that would be really weird... Ummmm, moving on.

So, I think I decided that I should go out West and go sand boarding for Spring break. What do ya think??

I was reading in John, and at the end of chapter twenty are found these words... "And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." And then in Ephesians two, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, lest anyone should boast."
And these are encouraging words indeed. Have peace, to follow in faith through life.

Thrice... "Image of the Invisible"
We're more than carbon and chemicals
We are the image of the invisible
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We can't allow this, the quiet cull
We are the image of the invisible
So we sing out this, our canticle
We are the image of the invisible

We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone

We're more than static and dial tone
We are the image of the invisible
We're emblematic of the unknown
We are the image of the invisible
So raise the banner, bend back your bows
We are the image of the invisible
Remove the cancer, take back your souls
We are the image of the invisible

We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone

Though all the world may hate us, we are named
The shadow overtake us, we are known

We're more than carbon and chemicals
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We're more than carbon and chemicals
We are the image of the invisible
Free will is ours and we can't let go
We are the image of the invisible
We can't allow this, the quiet cull
We are the image of the invisible
So we sing out this, our canticle
We are the image of the invisible

We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone...
We all were lost and we are found
No one can stop us or slow us down
We are the named and we are known
We know that we'll never walk alone

Raise up the banner, bend back your bows
Remove the cancer, take back your souls

canticle... a song or chant, especially a nonmetrical hymn with words taken from a biblical text other than from the Book of Psalms.
